ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

Welcome Parents,

My name is Mrs. Tristen Wrublewski, I am the Director of Student Services  for FBCS,  grades 1 through 12. My desire is to provide you information and the forms needed for enrollment .  We hope that you find this helpful and if you have any questions please contact me by calling the school office 985-643-3725 or email me at [email protected].

Applications for new students will be accepted as long as we have space in a class.

Students seeking enrollment at FBCS go through a personal interview process and tour with the school administration.  Interview appointments are made once the application and application fee have been submitted to the office and only if a space is available in the grade they are seeking.

Students are not placed on rolls until all required documents have been submitted and registration fees have been paid, including currently enrolled students.

FBCS requires a clear copy of the student’s birth certificate, immunizations & social security card (must be able to read the number), a copy of the current grades. All 9th – 12th grade students must provide a transcript showing classes taken and credits earned, if any.  We take the recommendation of the current school for pass/fail and we take into consideration LEAP results.

FBCS is dually accredited with ASCI ( Association of Christian Schools International) and Cognia.   We follow Louisiana Standards for curriculum guides in grades 1-12.  FBCS requires non-CDC-kindergarten students to take and pass proficiency tests for entrance into first grade.

We reserve the right to administer a proficiency test to any student seeking enrollment in grades 1 -12.

Students enrolling in FBCS are enrolled on a probationary status.  If the administrator deems the students attendance, behavior or academics are detrimental to the school’s overall performance and the issues are not being resolved the student will be asked to withdraw from FBCS and no refunds of monies paid will be refunded.
