*************************************************

HOMEWORK:

Bible:  This week’s memory verse is Proverbs 20:11 “Even a young man is known by his actions, by whether his behavior is pure and upright.”  This is the last Bible grade—no more Bible story tests.  We will continue learning about Paul, Barnabas, John Mark, and Timothy and their missionary trips.  We will also learn about Lydia.  No story test.

Phonics/Spelling:   Concentrate on Charts 10 – 13.  I will test each child on these special sounds and clue words for 100 points.  These charts will be featured on the last two Phonics tests.  Practice Spelling words every day (have child write words as you dictate them or spell them to you orally).

Spelling List 29 – (for test on Wed.) – old, cold, fold, gold, child, mild, wild, blind, find, kind, mind, comb, climb, Father, some

Spelling List 30 – (to be introduced Wed. for last test next week) – lace, face, grace, price, mice, ice, cent, city, circus, pencil, circle, bicycle, put, pull, push

Language:  We will continue with our practice pages (classifying sentences, matching subjects/predicates, writing sentences correctly, etc.).  I will have the kids do one more worksheet for points.

Reading:  I will begin picking up the readers and Handbooks this week.
