100th Day Math Project: The 100th day of school is Friday, Jan. 22nd. Students need to make a poster with 100 items on it (puff balls, stickers, toothpicks, whatever you want). It needs to have a title, and students can decorate it. They will present their posters to the class that day. Please do not use pennies–they make the poster too heavy, and they fall off. Let them do the counting!
Monday, January 18th: No school
Friday, January 22nd: Free shoe day
Wednesday: Math test 15 (mark the number that is one more, count how many cents using quarters, dimes, nickels, and pennies (students should be practicing counting money every night), write the sums and differences, word problems, circle one half of the shrimp, 1 gallon = 4 quarts, 1 foot = 12 inches) and speed drill 15 (should be practicing note cards every night)
Thursday: Handwriting test 14
