Some math terms:
Difference = subtraction
Sum = addition
1 yard = 3 feet
1 foot = 12 inches
1 yard = 36 inches
1 pound = 16 ounces
“How many more?” “how many are left?” = subtraction (word problems)
Total, in all, altogether = addition (word problems)
minute hand = big hand (on the clock)
hour hand = little hand (on the clock)
