Study the end of chapter reviews, our chapter 1A test and para empezar test, extra resources sent through email, and worksheets and exercises we completed in class.

Week Overview:

This week we will introduce Chapter 1B briefly and watch enrichment videos that tie to what we have gone over in the text so far. There will be no homework or big assignments due to exams.

Monday – Exam Review Day

• Organize notes
• Questions before exam Thursday
• Examples given on exam layout
• Focus on areas students may need extra help with

Tuesday – Introduce Chapter/Capitulo 1B

• Talk about personality traits
• Ask and tell what people are like
• Use adjectives to describe people
• Understand cultural perspectives on friendship

We will discuss the artist Frida Kahlo

• Students will create a self portrait and list personality traits to later translate to Spanish as we learn the new vocabulary

Wednesday – Bilingual Benefits

• Video on the benefits of a bilingual brain – Mia Nacamulli
• Video “The Benefits of Being Bilingual” – Univision Noticias
• Open discussion after watching videos
• Review for exam with games

Thursday – EXAM 

Friday – Teacher work day/No school for students
