Each week, I will send home the test folder with the past week’s test graded for you to see and sign the signature form. Please return the test with graded tests in the folder the next day.

Bible- memorize Memory Verse- Colossians 3:17, “Everything you say and everything you do should all be done for Jesus your Lord. And in all you do, give thanks to God the Father through Jesus.”
Reading- read an A.R. book for 15 minutes each night. When they are finished reading it, they can take a test on it at school, new point goal has been set.
Study for upcoming tests:
Science- – Chapter 6 Electricity; study Ch 6 vocabulary and chapter review page 95-96 in workbook, and student’s highlighted parts in the workbook
Math Speed Drill- This week, students will have three minutes to solve 20 multiplication facts with factors of 4, such as 4×1 up to 4×9.
Bible- students may use their workbook to study and a study guide sheet in their take home folder
Reading- students use their Reading book to review the story and skill, and use reading workbook to study vocabulary
Weekly Focus:
Bible-Giving thanks in many ways, the 10 men with leprosy and only 1 gave thanks, musical thanks, sacrificial thanks, thanks for God’s mercy and grace, vocab- mercy, grace
Reading- The Burning of the Rice Fields, literature textbook pages 251-258, skill- character’s actions, and study Vocabulary (reading workbook pg 80): abundant, ancient, boldly, decisive, festive, generosity, panic, predict
Math- Ch 5: division, divide by 2, divide by 3, divide by 4, divide by 5, zero and one in division
English- writing an essay, helping verbs, natural and inverted word order, conjunctions, compound sentences, run-on sentences, New classification- helping verb (HV) and compound object of preposition (COP)
Science- Chapter 6: Electricity, static electricity, electric current, types of circuits, electricity in homes, electricity safety, vocabulary- electricity, static electricity, conductor, insulator, electric current, circuit, switch, resistor
